Foveal.

EMR for eye clinics · Made in India

The fastest EMR an ophthalmologist has used.

Foveal does one thing: your OPD — registration, queue, examination, prescription, billing, print — made flawless and fast. No modules you'll never open. No training week. One consultation fee a month.

15 sec

to check in a returning patient — phone number, one tap.

60 sec

to register a walk-in, duplicate-checked, straight into the queue.

90 sec

to document a routine follow-up — exam, prescription, printed.

Measured with a stopwatch on real clinic flows. We time every demo the same way — bring your own stopwatch.

01The whole OPD, one tool

Everything your OPD needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Most EMRs sell you twelve modules and bury the six steps you do two hundred times a week. Foveal is those six steps, done properly.

  1. Check inPhone-number search first. Returning patients are in the queue before they've sat down.
  2. QueueLive columns for waiting, optometry, doctor, done. Doctors call the next patient themselves — one click, straight into the chart.
  3. ExamineTabbed eye exam with templates that pre-fill normals and never overwrite what you typed. ICD-10 built in.
  4. PrescribeType a drug once — Foveal remembers your strength, frequency and instructions forever.
  5. BillConsultation fee raised automatically at check-in. Add procedures, record cash or UPI, print the receipt.
  6. PrintPrescription, report and bill on your letterhead — your name, your registration number, your logo.

02Speed you can verify

Doctors pull their own patients. The chart is one click away.

Queue → take → chart. No receptionist relay, no re-opening files. The longest-waiting patient is one button away from being seen.
First visit
You type: Nepafenac 0.1% · eye drops · TID · 14 days · “after surgery”
Every visit after
You type: nep — Foveal fills the rest. Your drug, your sig, your words.

The formulary learns from what you actually prescribe. No drug-database imports, no setup spreadsheets.

03Built for DPDP from day one

Your patients' data, treated like it's radioactive.

Stored in India Your data lives in a Mumbai data centre and doesn't leave the country.
Your clinic's data is walled off Isolation is enforced in the database itself — not just the app. Even Foveal's own platform staff cannot read patient records.
Consent captured at registration DPDP consent recorded per patient, with a timestamp and the staff member who took it.
Encrypted in transit and at rest TLS on every connection; encrypted storage underneath.
Backed up daily Automatic daily backups, with restore drills — not just backup checkboxes.
Leave anytime, with everything Export your complete clinic data as CSV whenever you want. Your records are yours.

And one promise about your notes: Foveal never eats them. Templates and “mark normal” only fill blank fields. Drafts autosave and survive power cuts. Nothing you type is ever silently overwritten. Read the full security page →

04Proof on paper

Prescriptions you're proud to hand over.

Your letterhead, not ours. Clinic name, doctor's registration number, clean typography, a signature line where it belongs.

Foveal runs daily at its pilot ophthalmology clinic in Pune — built and tested inside a working OPD, not a software office. The pilot doctor's own words will appear here after the first weeks of live use; we only publish real, named testimonials.

Founding clinic testimonials are added as they go live.

05Pricing

  • WhatsApp support from the people who built it
  • Daily backups, data export anytime

06Questions doctors ask us

Straight answers.

What if Foveal shuts down?

You never risk more than one year's fee, you can export every record as CSV at any moment, and within 30 days you get a full refund without reasons. Foveal also runs its pilot clinic's daily OPD — it is not a side project that can quietly disappear.

My current EMR has more features.

It probably does — pharmacy, OT, CRM, inventory. If you use those every day, keep it. Foveal is for the 95% of your day that is OPD, made dramatically faster. Watch the stopwatch at the demo and decide.

What happens when the internet goes down?

Foveal needs internet, like UPI does. If your connection drops, work on paper for the hour and enter it later — your existing data is safe, backed up daily in Mumbai, and drafts you were typing are preserved on the machine.

Is patient data safe and DPDP-ready?

Data stays in India. Each clinic is isolated at the database level — even our platform staff cannot read patient records. Consent is captured at registration, everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and you can export or delete on demand. Full details here.

Will my staff actually learn it?

The receptionist's whole job is three buttons, and we sit with your team for their first morning. If we're wrong about how easy it is, the 30-day guarantee is the safety net — that's what it's for.

Why is it this cheap? What's the catch?

No catch. It's launch pricing for founding clinics — the list price is public (₹8,000/year) — and it stays cheap because it does one thing, for one specialty, without a sales team to feed.
